On Monday 4th November 2019 we entered Maida Vale Studios to record our very own ‘Live Sessions’. Approaching the end of our 2 year-long ‘Banging On The Ceiling Tour’. paying homage to the Foos’ ‘Concrete and Gold’, we soon settled on a duly inspired playlist. Laying down two takes of three Foos’ tracks and as time ran out fast, just one take of a song by AC/DC that the Foo’s have covered extensively in recent live shows and during their BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge performance in 2017.

This special edition 'Ray Gun' t-shirt was inspired by Foo Fighters debut studio album released on July 4th, 1995.

A little history for you........ our local Daleside Brewery (based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, UK) has been brewing their award winning 'Monkey Wrench' strong ale since the late 80's.  When Foo Fighters released 'Monkey Wrench', the first single from their second album entitled 'The Colour and the Shape' in 1997, it wasn't long before the link was established by Daleside's owner Eric Lucas.  Eric made contact with Foo Fighters management and sent a bunch of their 'Monkey Wrench' t-shirts to Los Angeles.  It is believed that Dave and the guys wore the t-shirts at a press conference!  Craig Witty (Head Brewer of Monkey Wrench) is renowned for playing Foo Fighters music in the brewery.

Jay made contact with Eric a few years ago and they instantly connected.  It is an honour and a privilege to be working with the guys at Daleside.
And drinking their beer on tour! :)
